Barkery

Taking Erin's & Shannon's advice I am going to put my phone number on Angels collar. I hope Ryan is right and the dog's barking will put off the robbers. I hope Angel barks-she is so excited to have visitors that if I wasn't home she just might welcome them in! She is the kind of Dog who barks when you don't want her to and doesn't bark when you do!

Now Annie's bark would surely scare away crooks...I wish I had her bark on a tape recorder that would play automatically when someone comes close by the house. We should invent that!

There you go. Angel might be small, but I am sure she is a badass once she is provoked. I saw your post on Jess's blog. I just got done reading 'The Poet', by Michael Connelly. It is doesn't have any smut, but it is a good read. I recommend it.

I can arrange some tape recording of Annie's bark for you. It would scare me off! Heck, Angel's bark would scare me off. Little dogs bite more often than big dogs.

We are thinking about getting two tags. One with our number when we are at home with Annie and one with my parents number for when she visits up there. After their greyhound escaped and they were in Europe, the chance of even checking their answering machine was slim to none. Thank god the boys found her after an hour of driving around the neighborhood.

I don't want to give you a false sense of security but I think you are pretty safe. The stats on crime in Crosby and Bemidji were higher per capita than Sunrise. That's some food for thought :)

As Yoda said: "Size matters not." So, although both Angel and I be wee, we can still kick ass. It's about attitude, not actual ability. Robbers and other n'er-do-wells can perceive that.

But, a collar is always a good idea, not just for the info, but so people can nab them.

As per the reading: I'm reading "Breaking Dawn" right now; samas Shannon. So I don't know if my recommendation would be any different than hers.

I just picked up the new Jodi Picault book. I also have a few Sandra Brown's to read, a Karen Slaughter, and one more somewhere...not sure who it is by. I plan on finishing these up and getting out of my rut of authors. Pass on what you read and like. I need some new material.
