Me and Rachael Ray thinking up new words...Flor-id-iots...I love it-fits perfect. Does it fit me? I don't think I really live here even though technically I am here more, nope I am considering myself now and forever a Minnesotan.
Probably because I grew up in two separate households, in two separate states (CO and VA), I have no particular attachment to a home state, and I've always gone by my dad's motto: "Home is where your toothbrush is."
So, I suppose you'll have to count me among the "Floridiots."
Hello, I’d like to introduce you to me--I’m Connie. I’m from the great state of Minnesota. Pronounced Minniesota by us Scandihoovians. And yes, we do say “yah you betcha” and “you guys” a lot. I have one child, a beautiful daughter, married, who lives in Florida. I am scared to death of the ocean so I told her husband he couldn’t take her off the continental USA and he picked Florida! Hmmmm. I got even with him though and bought a place two minutes away! Gotcha!

You are and always will be a 'sotan! (Ooh - in reference to Shannon's post - my word verification is blessins! - Blessins to you all!)
I hear you...no matter how long I live down here, Minnesota will always be my home.
